Patna: Chief minister Samrat Choudhary will lead the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ from JP Golambar to Kargil Chowk on Monday as the state govt has made elaborate preparations to make the campaign a grand success across the state.Sharing details of the programme, art, culture and youth affairs minister Pramod Kumar said on Saturday each block will be provided 4,000 tricolours through Jeevika Didis as various programmes, including Tiranga rallies/processions, ‘Selfie with Tiranga’ events, Tiranga-themed lighting decorations, Tiranga-themed rangoli, and mass singing of ‘Vande Mataram’.“The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’ is being organised on a large scale to boost a spirit of patriotism, national unity, and public participation among the masses on the occasion of Independence Day. Tricolours will also be distributed in schools, colleges, and public institutions,” the minister said. The campaign will run till August 17.He said various departments were assigned responsibilities during a review meeting chaired by chief secretary Pratyaya Amrit to ensure the event’s success.Urban development and housing minister Nitish Mishra on Saturday directed officials of all urban local bodies in the state to ensure wide public participation in the nationwide campaign.“Har Ghar Tiranga is not merely a campaign but a collective expression of respect, pride and unity towards the nation,” Mishra said, urging ULBs to involve maximum numbers of citizens, particularly youth, women and social organisations.
