Jaipur: A Class 5 student was allegedly beaten by the administrator of a private school in Nagaur’s Sadar police station area Saturday for failing to bring his homework notebook, police said. The boy reportedly sustained injuries in the assault.The incident triggered outrage among parents and villagers, with a large group submitting a memorandum Monday seeking strict action against the school operator and revocation of the school’s accreditation.According to the memorandum, the accused allegedly abused and intimidated the child, claiming, “I have reformed several criminals.”The boy’s father has lodged a police complaint alleging that the school operator beat the child with sticks, dragged him by his hair and threatened him with further violence if he disclosed the incident.
