Lucknow: Bringing laurels to the country, city girl Shloka Srivastava has qualified for the finals of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Student Design Contest 2026. Shloka, a BTech student at a private university in Mohali, is part of Team Keraia, the only team from India among the six finalists worldwide.The finals will be held in Detroit, US, from July 12 to 17 during an international IEEE symposium. Shloka and her team have developed a project titled “Compact Multi-Band Automotive Antenna for V2X with Road Condition Sensing.” The smart antenna system enables vehicles to communicate with each other while detecting road conditions such as potholes and slippery surfaces. The technology has the potential to improve road safety and make travel more efficient.“Representing India as the only finalist team is a proud moment. We have worked hard on this project and hope to present it well on the global stage,” said Shloka.
