Ranchi: CID on Friday questioned former JPSC chairperson L Khiangte for around eight hours in connection with its ongoing probe into alleged irregularities in examinations conducted by the commission.This was the third day the former chairperson was questioned. Sources said Khiangte has been asked to appear before CID again on Monday.Sources said investigators questioned him on the selection of the examination agency, verification of the company, handling and redressal of complaints by aspirants, and other related issues during his three appearances.In a related development, CID on Thursday arrested aspirant Saurav Suman from Hazaribag for allegedly using unfair means in the JPSC Civil Service Combined Preliminary Examination 2025. With this, CID has so far arrested 11 people in connection with the case.
