Bhilwara: Chittorgarh city’s Kotwali police station team arrested 13 persons for allegedly gambling at a residential house in the Gandhi Nagar area, and seized Rs 75,000 in cash, three scooters, two motorcycles and gambling equipment.Chittorgarh SP Manish Tripathi said, “All police officers in the district have been directed to take action against illegal gambling.” Police said an informer told them about people gambling in a house in the Gandhi Nagar area. Under the direction of ASP Chittorgarh Sarita Singh and Kotwali station in-charge Tulsiram, a special team was formed under Manish Sharma, RPS probationer. The police team raided the Sanjay Teli’s house, where three scooters and two motorcycles were parked in the courtyard. Police said 13 persons were found gambling in one of the rooms on the first floor. A total of Rs 75,000 in cash and gambling equipment were found in the possession of the 13 persons.
