Ajmer: A fire broke out in an underground electricity line at Dhobi Mohalla of Dargah Bazaar in Ajmer district Sunday afternoon.Dargah police station SHO Dinesh Jeevnani said that the fire was caused by a short circuit in the underground cable and the sparks were making sounds similar to that of firecrackers bursting. He said there was no loss of life or property and the situation was brought under control. After receiving information about the incident, fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and after about one hour brought the fire under control. Meanwhile, police had diverted the traffic onto another route.Chetan Manvanu, a shopkeeper at Dargah Bazaar alleged that the shopkeepers had filed a complaint three days ago, but no action had been taken. He questioned who was responsible for this incident.
