Chikkamagaluru: A case has been registered against six persons for allegedly attempting to attack a religious leader at the Inspection Bungalow in Kadur town. According to police, Gangadhar Swami, seer of Avadhoota Mutt iin Chitradurga district, had come to Kadur. While he was staying at the facility, an argument broke out, leading to a scuffle, police said.A video of the alleged assault on the swami and his associates has gone viral on social media. Based on the complaint, an FIR has been filed at Kadur police station against six persons. The religious leader has approached SP Jitendra Kumar Dayama and submitted a complaint.
