Varanasi: Special religious rituals and havan were preformed at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple on navami, the ninth day of the Navratri and Ramnavami on Friday. In accordance with the rituals, the priests of the temple constructed a havan kund in the temple chowk and conducted havan. The devotees present at the Kashi Vishwanath Dham also participated in the havan.Meanwhile, with nine days of prayers to nine forms of Goddess Durga and Kanya Pujan, the Chaitra Navratri-concluded at Aghorpeeth, ‘Baba Keenaram Sthal Kreem-Kund’, in Ravindrapuri. After the morning aarti-pujan of the ashram, Kanya Pujan commenced under the guidance of the Peethadhishwar Baba Siddharth Gautam Ram Ji. Nine girls, as the nine form of the goddess, and a boy as as Bhairav Baba were welcomed and seated. The devotees served them meals and gave them gifts.
