Prayagraj: A man, Sarvesh alias Golu Yadav, 24, of Niriya village, was killed in celebratory firing during a party under the limits of Karchana police station late on Monday night.The firing led to chaos and many guests fled the scene after the incident. The police have arrested the accused, Vijay Yadav, and seized his revolver used in the incident.As per the police investigations a function (badhava) was held to celebrate the birth of a son to Anup Yadav, a resident of Niriya village. During the festivities, which continued late into the night, Anup’s cousin started firing with his licensed revolver into the air. One of the bullets hit Sarvesh of the same village killing him on the spot.
