Pact for cyber law, security & AI governanceThe National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with an organization Cyber Peace to collaborate in the areas of cyber law, cyber security, artificial intelligence (AI) governance, digital forensics, research, capacity building, and community awareness. The agreement aims to promote academic collaboration, joint research initiatives, training programmes, national conferences, hackathons, cyber moot court competitions, and cyber legal aid initiatives.Disaster risk reduction clubA disaster risk reduction club, the only one of its kind in Jharkhand, was inaugurated in Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University. The centre aims to create awareness on minimizing disaster risks and build community capabilities. A street play was organized on the occasion to educate students, teachers and non teaching staffs on the issue. The club has planned a workshop on cardiovascular resuscitation in coordination with Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (Rims) in coming days.Wellness centreRanchi University’s health and wellness centre has signed a memorandum of understanding with Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences and Ranchi Institute for Neuro-psychiatry and Applied Sciences. The agreement aims to make available better mental health facilities including proactive care, preliminary investigation, counselling and specialized treatment for RU students and the employees. The RU vice chancellor professor DK Singh was present on the occasion.BIT students prepare all terrain vehicleBirla Institute of Technology (BIT) students have prepared an internal combustion engine all terrain vehicle for a national level competition to be held at Hyderabad in the coming days. The students made a presentation of the vehicle before BIT faculty members and explained about its design, manufacturing phases and technical specialities.
