Bhubaneswar: Inspector Susmita Magar of Boudh district was suspended on Monday over her alleged links with ganja smugglers. An order issued by director general of police Y B Khurania stated: “A disciplinary proceeding has been initiated against inspector Magar for gross misconduct and dereliction of duty. She is placed under suspension with immediate effect.”Magar’s conduct came under scrutiny during her tenure as inspector in charge (IIC) of Manamunda police station in Boudh district following recent allegations about her nexus with drug traffickers. She was later shunted from the post of the IIC and posted as an inspector in district police office.
