Vadodara: The Baroda Management Association (BMA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) to promote business, academic and professional collaboration between India and Latvia.The agreement was signed by BMA president Mangla Chouhan and LCCI director of foreign affairs Natālija Juškova. Shaurabh Shah, LCCI’s representative in India, facilitated the partnership.

Under the MoU, the two organisations will jointly organise conferences, seminars, workshops, webinars, exhibitions, business delegations and networking events. They will also facilitate business partnerships, promote trade and investment opportunities, support entrepreneurship and innovation, and encourage collaboration between industry and academia.Chouhan said the partnership aims to create global opportunities for BMA members through knowledge exchange, international networking and business collaborations. She described the MoU as the first major international partnership since assuming office as BMA president in May and said it aligns with her vision of taking the association onto the global stage.The association said the collaboration would strengthen professional and institutional ties between India and Latvia while providing businesses, entrepreneurs, professionals and students with greater international exposure.
