Rabri Devi, former Bihar CM, alleged that CM Nitish Kumar is being pushed out of Bihar by the BJP and should not leave the state. This marks her first public comment on speculation surrounding Nitish’s potential Rajya Sabha move. Her son, Tejashwi Yadav, previously expressed sympathy for Nitish and accused the BJP of betrayal.

Patna: Former Bihar CM and RJD leader Rabri Devi on Saturday alleged that CM Nitish Kumar was not willing to go to the Rajya Sabha and the BJP was pushing him out of Bihar.Speaking to reporters, Rabri said Nitish should not leave the state. “BJP is throwing him out of Bihar, but he should not go,” she said.

This is the first time Rabri publicly commented on speculation around Nitish’s political move.A couple of days back, her son and RJD national working president Tejashwi Prasad Yadav had also reacted to the developments, expressing sympathy for Nitish and accusing the BJP of betraying him. His statement came the day Nitish filed his nomination for Rajya Sabha.However, RJD founder Lalu Prasad has not issued any statement on the matter and has not even commented on social media.
