Alwar: Mohit Yadav, president of Alwar District Cricket Association and son of BJP MLA from Bahrod and former minister Jaswant Yadav, has filed a case against six named accused, alleging that they were workers of former MLA Baljeet Yadav and had threatened him to pay Rs 50 lakh as extortion money.In his complaint, Yadav stated that the six men on March 10 stopped his car, surrounded him with sticks and batons, hurled abuses, and threatened him to pay Rs 50 lakh within five days, or else they would kill him. He said the men fled after other vehicles approached from behind.Yadav further alleged that when he did not pay the money, the accused began making indecent remarks against him on social media and on March 21, accused Virender Singh threatened him through a video call via Facebook Messenger.Yadav also alleged that some of the accused had previously made two life-threatening attacks on him, with reports registered at Bahrod and Mandhan police stations.Yadav said on March 10 he was invited as the chief guest at the annual function of a gaushala located in Mandhan. He said after the programme ended, while he was returning from to Bahrod around 8pm, the accused came in a numberless Scorpio vehicle and stopped his car near Kanhavas in a deserted area, where they threatened him.Mandhan SHO Kiran Singh Yadav said the allegations were being investigated and necessary legal action against the accused will be taken soon.
