Jaisalmer: Sangad police Wednesday seized 310 grams of smack, 140 grams of MDMA, and 3.26 kilograms of doda valued at Rs 50 lakh along with Rs 2.7 lakh cash from a house and arrested a man in Jaisalmer district.The accused has been identified as Sadram (42), a resident of Virmaniyon Ki Dhani in Chenpura area in Jodhpur district.SP Abhishek Shivhare said all station house officers and district special team (DST) in-charge Bhimrao Singh had been directed to take action against drug traffickers. Acting on these instructions, DST gathered intelligence and coordinated with Sangad police station to take action. SHO Rajesh Kumar Nipu and his team raided Sadram’s house at night and seized the drugs were intended for sale in Jaisalmer town.Shivhare said Sadram’s elder son, Suresh Bishnoi, was earlier arrested with 92 grams of MDMA in 2025, while the younger son, Kamlesh Bishnoi, was arrested in connection with an MD factory in Barmer. Police said Sadram was working as a labourer near Koda village while running a drug business.A case under the NDPS Act has been registered, and further investigation is going on with the aim to identify links in the drug network.
