Ranchi: A delegation of assistant teacher aspirants on Tuesday submitted a memorandum to the governor, seeking a CBI probe into the alleged lack of transparency in selecting candidates for science and mathematics subjects by Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission. The step was taken a day after the aspirants protested before the JSSC office at Namkum over the issue. The memorandum said the JSSC has issued the results without the score cards and raw merit list of candidates, reflecting the lack of transparency in declaring the results. It demanded that the merit list be issued after a CBI inquiry and that the selection be done according to its recommendations.Aspirant Rahul Kumar said, “We had met governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar in June and handed over the memorandum to him. Today’s meeting was a reminder.”
