Ranchi: A day after Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) apprehended railway’s chief commercial inspector Himanshu Shekhar while accepting Rs 50,000 as bribe following a raid at Hatia DRM office, the South Eastern Railways (SER) on Thursday issued an order transferring the senior divisional commercial manager (DCM) Suchi Singh.The order issued by the deputy chief personnel officer SER stated that Shreya Singh would replace Suchi as the senior DCM.CBI had conducted a raid based on allegation that the accused Himanshu demanded a bribe of 10 percent for clearing a pending bill of around Rs 8.70 lakhs.Reportedly, Suchi was also under question in this connection and was being probed by the CBI. The central agency however didn’t officially made any statement in this regard till the time of filing this report.
