Jaipur: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced its first list of 11 candidates for the upcoming Jaipur Municipal Corporation elections. The list was released late on Wednesday after approval from party election in charge Devendra Shastri.The party has fielded candidates in eight assembly constituencies across Jaipur, showing that it is planning to contest the civic polls in different parts of the city.Bagru has the highest number of candidates, with three names announced. Adarsh Nagar and Hawa Mahal have two candidates each, while Sanganer, Vidyadhar Nagar, Jhotwara and Civil Lines have one candidate each.Sangeeta Kumari Gaur will contest from Ward 54 in Sanganer. Mohammad Aslam and Lal Chand Saini have been named for Wards 118 and 120 in Adarsh Nagar.In Bagru, Heera Lal Kharra will contest from Ward 64, Yogesh Goyal from Ward 62 and Mohammad Sajid from Ward 71. Dr Gajendra Bansal and Pinky Kumari have been fielded from Wards 141 and 145 in Hawa Mahal.Trilok Pareek will contest from Ward 22 in Vidyadhar Nagar, Kavita Yadav from Ward 33 in Jhotwara and Pradeep from Ward 103 in Civil Lines.
