Vadodara: There was drama in Godhra town on Friday night after the social media content creator whose videos allegedly triggered rioting against police in the town last year was brought to the police station from the hospital.Zakir Zabha was taken to Godhra Civil Hospital for a medical examination by Godhra B Division police station personnel along with another man accused in a liquor prohibition case. Zabha’s medical examination was completed while that of the other accused was taking time. Police decided to take Zabha back to the police station instead of keeping him at the hospital. On the way from the hospital, Zabha said that he was feeling uneasy and was nauseated. Police stopped the car and asked Zabha to put his head out to vomit. Zabha allegedly stepped out and refused to return to the car. He allegedly created a scene on the road near Holi Chakla, and police had to call reinforcements to take him back to the police station. Zabha later sat on the ground outside the police station and refused to enter. Police had to use force to take him inside. Zabha allegedly resisted being put back inside the lockup and had to be pushed in. Another offence was registered against him at B Division police station regarding the disturbance.
