Bhubaneswar: As part of south-eastern railway’s (SER) Swachhata Hi Seva-2026 campaign, SER general manager Anil Kumar Jain interacted with students of BNR Railway School in Jharsuguda under the Swachhta Se Samvad initiative, highlighting waste segregation, environmental protection and plantation drives, recently. He also distributed certificates to winners of competitions held during Swachhta Pakhwada. The cleanliness campaign, being observed from Sept 17 to Oct 2, focuses on public participation and environmental sustainability. Across SER, including its headquarters at Garden Reach in Kolkata and the Kharagpur, Adra and Ranchi divisions, activities such as cleanliness drives, awareness programmes, nukkad nataks, debates, poster competitions and visits to recycling facilities are being organised to promote hygiene and responsible waste management.
