Surat: Leaders representing 35 associations under the Federation of Gujarat Weavers Welfare Association met in Varachha on Saturday and decided to convene a mass meeting of around 4,000 textile weaving unit owners on Monday to discuss the industry’s worsening market conditions.The large gathering will be held in Saroli, where weavers from different industrial clusters and product segments are expected to participate in significant numbers.The meeting has been called to decide the future course of action for the sector amid growing uncertainty in the textile market.
