T’puram: Kazhakkoottam police on Thursday took three juveniles into custody in connection with the theft of a two-wheeler from Kazhakkoottam. Their arrest was recorded on Friday. The incident occurred on Tuesday when the motorcycle was stolen from outside the house of BJP leader Anil Kumar. Acting on CCTV visuals collected from the area, police launched a probe and traced the accused.Police have recovered the stolen two-wheeler from the accused. Officials said one of the juveniles is already involved in a vehicle theft case registered at Museum police station. The same juvenile is also an accused in a Pothencode Pocso case.Further proceedings are being carried out in accordance with the Juvenile Justice Act, police said. The operation was carried out under the supervision of city police commissioner, ACP Kazhakkoottam and Kazhakkoottam station house officer. TNN
