Patna: The Special Task Force (STF) of Bihar Police, in collaboration with Muzaffarpur police, arrested Ayub Khan, the leader of the infamous Khan Brothers gang, from the Mithanpura area of Muzaffarpur. Ayub Khan, along with his brother Rais Khan, is wanted in multiple cases of murder, extortion, kidnapping, and robbery across Bihar. The arrest was made possible through coordination with Muzaffarpur police.Mohibullah Ansari, Siwan SP, confirmed the arrest and said, “He was arrested late on Sunday night. The gang was involved in several high-profile crimes, including land grabbing and murder. In Oct last year, police seized several weapons, including an AK-47, from Ayub Khan’s house.”The Khan Brothers gang, led by Ayub and Rais, was previously associated with the Bahubali leader Mohd Shahabuddin. The brothers are accused of murdering several people, including Vishal Singh, Anshu Singh, and Pramod Singh of Siwan.
