Vadodara: Makarpura police have registered a forgery case against a 19-year-old woman from Navsari who allegedly submitted a fake call letter while seeking recruitment to Lok Rakshak Dal (LRD).According to police, Keti Patel visited the city police headquarters at Pratapnagar on Monday, where officials were verifying documents submitted by candidates aspiring to join LRD.Patel presented a recruitment call letter to an official. However, her roll number was missing from the list maintained by the police, raising suspicion. Upon verification, the call letter was found to be fake, following which the incident was reported to Makarpura police. An offence of forgery has been registered against Patel, police said.
