Ramesh Bafna, CFO & Executive Director, Zepto, said the JSA Boardroom Connect Roundtable covered relevant legal and industry issues, including the implementation of the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act.
“Thank you for inviting me for this session. It was quite nice, and the discussion with all the people, specifically regarding all the legal questions and the topics covered, were all very relevant, whether it is relevant to Bengaluru also, in fact, and to the current industry,” Bafna said on the sidelines of the JSA Boardroom Connect Roundtable Bengaluru Edition held on September 3.“The DPDP Act which is coming and all of us are really debating how to implement this particular thing. So that way it is good. Some of the points covered were very, very insightful and there are views and counter views,” he said.
Bafna said the open-discussion format made the session engaging. “Typically, this kind of session sometimes goes within half an hour, a typical fixed one. There is no specific format. Since it is an open discussion, it was quite good. I really enjoyed it. So, looking forward to more such sessions,” he said.
