Prayagraj: A group of five youths including two brothers in Fatehpur were booked on Tuesday after a video went viral on social media showing them allegedly disrespecting the national flag.The incident, which occurred on Saturday, took place at Radha Nagar area of Fatehpur district while taking out Tiranga Yatra on the occasion of Independence Day.A senior cop said that the a group of youths were spotted putting their legs on the national flag while placing it on the bonnet of a SUV. Their actions were recorded on mobile phones by some locals as the footage quickly spread, triggering widespread public outrage and demand for immediate action.Following the circulation of the video, police acted swiftly and registered an FIR under section 2 of Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act and section 281 of BNS against Praveen Tiwari, Ashish Tiwari, Mradul Dwivedi, Sonu Yadav and others at Radha Nagar police station in Fatehpur district. Further investigations are underway.
