Hyderabad: Three members of a family have been arrested for their alleged role in the murder of a 25-year-old youth in Adilabad town. The trigger for the murder, with police suspecting a premeditated attack, was an alleged extramarital relationship.Around 1am on Friday, according to police, 25-year-old Mohammed Arbaz was allegedly assaulted at his residence at Shantinagar area with a stick, leading to fatal head injuries by Rakesh Pawar, his brother Ravi Pawar, and their father Gopal Pawar, all residents of the same neighbourhood. Police stated that the trio, belonging to the same family, had conspired to carry out the murder. Preliminary investigation revealed that the motive behind the crime was an alleged extramarital relationship between the deceased and a woman from the same locality. The woman’s husband, along with his family members, is believed to have planned and executed the attack.Acting on a complaint filed by the deceased’s father Arif, police registered a case and launched an investigation. The accused were apprehended on Sunday morning.The weapon used in the crime along with three mobile phones have been seized.
