“The youth of the country have lit the light in the darkness. The youth of Hindustan have faced fear and worked to change the country,” Gandhi said at the Congress-NSUI organised ‘Chhatron ki Goonj’ (voice of students) rally in Prayagraj in poll-bound UP.
However, he did not take the name of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) in his speech, even as he assured the students in the audience of his and the Congress’ support for their fight and protests. Gandhi also referred to alleged irregularities in some universities in UP and recruitments under the state government’s schemes.

Pitching ” dard (pain), data and Daulat (wealth)” as the running theme of his speech, Gandhi said that despite India possessing the largest youth power and the biggest data bank, the system has trapped the future of the youth in a ‘chakravyuh’ of an education system that ensures no jobs and is also affected by paper leaks.
He alleged that the ‘pracharaks’ have entered every aspect of the system and claimed Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Mohan Bhagwat and Adani “have captured and are controlling the system”.
