Gorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday visited the residence of former Sahjanwa MLA Sheetal Pandey in Ramgarhtal/Taramandal area to pay his last respects to his youngest son, Manavendra Pandey alias ‘Manu’, who passed away on Tuesday. He was 35.The CM arrived in Gorakhpur in the evening and went straight from the airport to the bereaved family’s residence. He offered floral tributes to the portrait of Manavendra and expressed deep condolences, praying for the peace of the departed soul at the feet of Guru Gorakhnath.CM Yogi also interacted with the grieving family members, including the former MLA, and consoled them during the difficult time.Several local leaders and public representatives including mayor Manglesh Srivastava, MLC and BJP state vice-president Dharmendra Singh, MLA Vipin Singh, city convenor Rajesh Gupta, BJP leader Ashwini Tripathi, Vibhrat Chand Kaushik and Pushpdant Jain were present.
