The tragic demise of a woman after receiving an injection at an unlicensed private hospital in Kaimur has ignited public fury. Her family claims that medical negligence played a crucial role in her sudden decline. In response, officials have shut down the facility, detained the so-called practitioner, and launched a thorough investigation.

Sasaram: A woman suffering from high fever died shortly after being administered an injection at a private hospital operating in Godsara village of Kaimur district late Monday night. The incident triggered outrage among family members and local residents, who gathered at the hospital and staged a protest.Police took the quack in custody.Following the incident, police and administrative officials rushed to the spot, sealed the hospital, and arrested the alleged quack, who had been running the facility. After pacifying the agitated crowd, BDO Jitendra Kumar and SHO Hari Sharma took custody of the body and sent it for postmortem to Sadar Hospital Bhabua. Later, DSP Pradeep Kumar also visited the site and carried out a detailed inquiry.Police registered an FIR based on a complaint filed by the deceased woman’s husband.According to the complaint filed by Dharmendra Paswan, a resident of Diyan village, he had taken his wife Ruby Kumari to the hospital in Godsara after she was suffering from high fever late Monday night. During treatment, the doctor, identified as Arun Sharma, administered an injection to her. Within a short time, her condition began to deteriorate. The doctor allegedly told the family that her blood pressure had dropped and advised them to take her to another hospital. However, when the family rushed her to the referral hospital, doctors there declared her dead.Angered by the incident, the victim’s relatives and villagers reached the hospital and created a commotion, demanding action against the doctor.During preliminary inquiry, authorities found that the hospital was being operated without official registration. He was unable to produce any valid medical qualification certificate and has since been taken into custody by the police.
