“NDA leaders have a long list of leaders who follow ‘Parivarvad’. BJP’s national president Nitin Nabin, BJP’s Dy CM Samrat Choudhary and now Nishant are all kin of the NDA’s top party leaders,” the Buxar MP said. “But that is not the end of the story. Late LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan, HAM(S) founder Jitan Ram Manjhi, RLM chief Upendra Kushwaha, all introduced their children in politics. So, where is the NDA’s campaign against ‘Parivarvad’?” asked Singh, who himself is the son of former state RJD president Jagadanand Singh.Singh said when NDA family members are promoted in politics on such a large scale, blaming only the RJD for “dynastic rule” amounts to political hypocrisy. He alleged that NDA leaders raise the issue of “dynastic politics” to mislead the public, while the reality is different. The RJD MP also raised concerns about the direction of Bihar’s politics. He further alleged that political decisions in Bihar could increasingly be influenced from outside the state. If such a trend continues, he warned, Bihar might come under the political influence of a western state.
