Kolkata: A young woman, found with severe burns, was rescued from the Maidan area on Friday afternoon.Cops from Maidan Police Station said her identity was yet to be established and that she had not been in a position to give a statement. As a result, the circumstances leading to her injuries were still unknown, said police. The woman is being treated at SSKM Hospital. A can with kerosene or a petrol-type liquid was found on the spot. tnn
