Rajkot: A 20-year-old woman allegedly died by suicide after her father found her with her boyfriend at their home in Soyal village of Dhrol in Jamnagar District on Monday.According to police, the woman Hetal Jhapda was alone at home and had invited her boyfriend over. Her father, who works as a driver, returned earlier than expected and found the couple together. The youth fled immediately, and Sindha reportedly chased him but failed to catch him. When he returned home, he found Hetal hanging and rushed her to a hospital in an unconscious condition. Doctors declared her dead on arrival.Police said preliminary investigations suggest that Hetal may have taken the extreme step out of fear and distress after her father discovered her relationship.Dhrol police station registered a case of accidental death. Efforts are underway to identify the boyfriend and ascertain the nature and duration of their relationship.
