BENGALURU: Police have registered an FIR against the driver of a school van after CCTV footage showed several children falling onto the road when the vehicle’s rear door suddenly swung open while it was in motion in east Bengaluru.The incident took place on Thursday in Gayatri Layout under the K R Puram police station limits and was captured by a CCTV camera installed in the area.The footage, which has since gone viral on social media, shows the van’s rear door opening unexpectedly as it was moving, causing multiple children to tumble onto the road.According to traffic police, four children sustained minor injuries, mostly scratches, in the incident.Police said the school van has been seized and an FIR has been registered against the driver at K R Puram police station.(With PTI inputs)
