Origin Story
Walk With Dada started with a problem: Danielle Anderson couldn’t find a sandal when living in the city that actually did it all — comfortable enough to walk all day, stylish enough to wear for coffee runs to dinner and sturdy enough to survive a New York summer without falling apart. So she made a sandal, guided by her father, a board-certified podiatrist, who helped ensure the sandal had a supportive foundation. In 2023, Anderson and Courtney Bolton officially launched Walk With Dada.
Three years later, it’s grown into a small-batch leather sandal brand run by two friends who split their time between Atlanta and St. Petersburg. They are building the brand on nights and weekends, around full-time jobs and full-on parenting, self-funded the whole way. It releases one new style or colorway a year.
