Nagpur: Congress MLA Vijay Wadettiwar on Monday shared a screenshot of WhatsApp messages to support his claim of alleged paper leak case in Maharashtra Public Service Commission’s (MPSC) drug inspector recruitment exam. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Sharad Pawar faction MLA Rohit Pawar also made similar claims on Monday. The screenshot, from a chat dated March 20, two days before the exam was held on March 22, carried photographs of alleged question papers, sent with a note marking them “important” and messages referring to the questions that would come up in the test. He did not name the recipient.Drawing a parallel with the NEET row that cost the then Union education minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, his job after the Cocoroach Janata Party (CJP) protests, Wadettiwar said the Mahayuti govt is yet to act and accused it of “ruining the state’s education system and its exams”. The MLA alleged the govt found time only to split opposition parties and collect “khoke”, a slang used for crores in payoffs to engineer defections, while turning a blind eye to exam paper leaks. Wadettiwar demanded a high-level probe and action against “political forces” he claimed were shielding them.
