Lucknow: A new executive committee of Vigyan Bharati, Awadh prant was constituted during the third annual general meeting in Lucknow University (LU) on Sunday.Vice-chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University, Rae Bareli, Prof BN Singh was elected president and professor at the department of chemistry, LU, Prof Vinay Singh was elected general secretary.Prof BN Singh said, “Responsibilities would be assigned to office-bearers and members according to their expertise, interests and skills which would strengthen enthusiasm and improve organisational efficiency.”Prof Vinay Singh said that activities in Awadh would be pursued systematically while encouraging scientists, students, teachers and wider sections of society to participate in accordance with Vigyan Bharati’s objectives.Dignitaries such as Akhil Bharatiya pracharak pramukh Swant Ranjan, national organisation secretary of Vijnan Bharati Shivkumar and regional co-prachar pramukh Manoj Kant were also present.
