Varanasi: Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU), Jaunpur has signed an MoU with the Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Centre to enhance digital access to international research and modernize library services. The MoU was signed on Tuesday in the presence of Governor and Chancellor Anandiben Patel at KGMU, Lucknow. VBSPU Vice-Chancellor Prof Vandana Singh signed the agreement with INFLIBNET, emphasizing that the collaboration will provide immense benefits to the university’s faculty, students, and researchers. “This MoU will serve as a vital resource for accessing subject-specific materials and facilitate a high-tech transformation of the university library,” she said.The agreement includes access to services such as IndCat (Indian Union Catalogue), library automation software, Shodhganga, Shodh Chakra, INFED (INFLIBNET Access Management Federation), and the Indian Research Information Network System (IRINS). Through IRINS, research profiles of university faculty will be compiled and analyzed for integrated evaluation and presentation of research output. TNN
