Coimbatore: Days after her two sons joined in campaigning, BJP candidate for Coimbatore North assembly constituency Vanathi Srinivasan’s husband Srinivasan began his campaign for her by visiting several partment complexes in the constituecny and interacting with residents there on Thursday. Vanathi has been undergoing treatment in a hospital since April 10. During the outreach, Srinivasan highlighted the welfare initiatives and development works undertaken by Vanathi over the past five years and appealed to people to vote for her. Vanathis is likely to be discharged on Friday, raising expectations of her return to active campaigning soon.
