New Delhi: A US national, who arrived in Delhi from Hong Kong, was arrested at Indira Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday after she was found carrying undeclared luxury goods worth Rs 5.4 crore. Customs officials intercepted the woman, and her baggage was subjected to X-ray screening, followed by a detailed procedural physical examination. This resulted in the recovery of substantial quantities of undeclared foreign-origin goods and currency: silver utensils weighing 10 kg, high-value luxury watches from premium brands; and 9,084 US dollars, 605 euros, and 2,540 Hong Kong dollars.
