Times News NetworkKanpur: The Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) has constituted nine committees and assigned them specific responsibilities for the smooth and grand conduct of the fourth edition of the prestigious UP T20 League.The committees formed by the UPCA include the Organising Committee, Reception Committee, Medical Committee, Hospitality Committee, Ground and Pitch Committee, Media Committee, Anti-Corruption Committee, Senior Advisory Committee and Talent Search Committee.Sanjay Kapoor, chairman of the UP T20 League Governing Council, said the formation of the committees has clearly defined responsibilities for various aspects of the league’s organisation at different levels.He said the move would ensure systematic management of all arrangements, covering the organisation of matches as well as matters related to players, guests, media personnel and spectators.The committees will coordinate their respective departments to ensure that the fourth edition of the UP T20 League is conducted in a smooth and well-organised manner.The fourth edition of league will commence from August 14 at Ekana Stadium Lucknow and the second leg of the league will be played at the Green Park stadium Kanpur from August 28 to September 6.Organization Committee-Sunil Joshan (Agra), BD Shukla (Mainpuri), Mohanlal Agarwal (Farrukhabad), Faisal Sherwani (Aligarh), Aziz Khan (Sonbhadra), Anand Pathak (Shahjahanpur), Shashwat Singh (Ghazipur), Asad Ahmad (Sultanpur), and Sanjay Tiwari (Kanpur) have been included in the organizing committee.Reception Committee-It includes Sanjeev Kumar Singh (Ghazipur), Rajesh Sehgal (Agra), CA Javed (Barabanki), Siddharth Singh (Jaunpur), Latifur Rahman (Saharanpur), and Shivam Tripathi.Medical Committee-Dr. Manish Chauhan (Raebareli) and Dr. Umar Mustafa Hasan (Prayagraj) have been included in the medical committee.Hospitality Committee-Sanjeev Kumar Singh (Ghazipur), JP Singh (Azamgarh), Kamal Chawla (Mathura), and Saksham Mishra (Jhansi) will handle responsibilities in the hospitality committee.Ground & Pitch Committee-Manoj Pundir (Muzaffarnagar) and SN Singh (Kanpur) have been included in the Ground and Pitch Committee.Media Committee-Mohammad Faheem (Raebareli), Ahmad Ali Khan ‘Talib’ (Kanpur), and Fasahat Ali (Aligarh) have been assigned responsibilities in the media committee.Anti-Corruption Committee-Nagendra SeniorAdvisory Committee-Riyasat Ali (Fatehpur), GN Tiwari (Gorakhpur), Sita Ram Saxena (Bareilly), Ishrat Mahmood Khan (Bahraich), Pradeep Kumar Gupta (Firozabad), Arvind Srivastava (Unnao), Shyam Babu (Jalaun), Khaliq M. Khan (Lucknow), Vijay Gupta (Moradabad), Javed Akhtar (Varanasi), and Tahir Hasan (Prayagraj) have been included in the Senior Advisory Committee.
