Prayagraj: The UP Board has revised the schedule for finalising examination centres for the 2027 High School and Intermediate examinations, giving districts additional time to complete the online process. UP Board secretary Bhagwati Singh said that the revised timeline has been issued following govt’s decision to modify the earlier schedule.Under the revised schedule, the deadline for uploading the report of physical verification of schools, along with the recommendations of the tehsil-level committees constituted by district magistrates, has been extended from Sept 12 to Oct 12.The board will now upload the list of schools selected online as examination centres, along with student allocation, on Oct 22 instead of Sept 21. The list of schools facing debarment or withdrawal of recognition proceedings, as well as ineligible schools, will be displayed on the board website on Oct 28, against the earlier date of Sept 28.The revised schedule also extends the period for objections from students, parents, principals and managers. Districts will publish notices in newspapers and invite objections through the UP Board portal. The last date for submitting objections has been shifted from Oct 8 to Nov 6.The district inspector of schools (DIOS) will subsequently examine and dispose of the objections and forward recommendations approved by the district-level centre determination committee to the board online. The deadline for this process has been extended to Nov 16.The board will upload the list of examination centres, including student allocation, approved by the district-level committee on Nov 21. A further window will be provided for institutions, students, parents and principals to raise objections if students are allotted centres beyond the prescribed distance or centres are assigned more students than their permitted capacity.After examining and disposing of these objections, the district-level committees will finalise the examination-centre list and upload it on the board website on Nov 27.Singh said the revised dates do not change the provisions of the earlier govt orders issued on July 1 and Aug 18 regarding online determination of examination centres. The entire process will continue to be carried out through the board’s portal, with district authorities directed to strictly follow the revised timeline.
