Times News NetworkKanpur: An unidentified man, aged about 30, critically injured his neck with a cutter near Chakeri police station on Sunday evening. He was taken to the Kashiram Hospital and later referred to the Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital after his condition deteriorated.Chakeri police station in-charge Ajay Prakash Mishra said the man, who was found lying under Ramadevi bridge in an intoxicated state, was taken to hospital when he had injured himself with a blade or cutter.Police said the man, who worked as a ragpicker, used to roam in the nearby area. Local residents could not establish his identity. Police are investigating the incident and trying to identify him.
