Lucknow: An arrest was made in connection with the brutal stabbing of a 30-year-old man who was found dead in Madeyaganj here on Saturday morning, police said.Deceased Shabir, an undertrial, was out on bail in connection with the murder of one Pappu in 2017. His death is being linked to the eight-year-old case. Shabir reportedly travelled from Mumbai to attend a court hearing here. The police suspect that Pappu’s father, Munna Ghosi and his associates may have orchestrated the attack to avenge Pappu’s death.DCP, central, Ashish Srivastava confirmed that five police teams from Lucknow and Rae Bareli were deployed to nab others involved in the case. tnn
