Vadodara: Raopura police have booked a 40-year-old man for allegedly raping his 12-year-old niece repeatedly. The man’s neighbour, who saw one instance of rape and began blackmailing and raping the girl himself, has also been booked. The girl’s mother filed a complaint with police after her daughter told her of the ordeal. According to police, the girl lives with her mother in the Dandia Bazaar area. Her uncle had, starting a few months ago, been raping her. He would allegedly get her to go to his house on various pretexts and force himself on her. The girl’s mother told police that the uncle’s neighbour once saw him in a compromising position with the girl.The neighbour then began blackmailing the girl and raped her repeatedly. Fed up with the sexual abuse, the girl told her mother everything. Raopura police have arrested the both the accused men.
