Chennai: Two eighteen-year-olds were arrested for posting videos in which they were brandishing knives on social media. Five minors who appeared in the videos were also detained for inquiry and later released with a warning.According to police, videos of a group displaying a knife were circulated on social media. The social media centre forwarded it to Kodungaiyur police to identify the boys involved and take appropriate legal action.The suspects were identified as S Surya, and Joel, both residents of Kodungaiyur’s Ambedkar Street, along with five other boys aged below 17 years from the same locality.Police detained all seven on Tuesday for questioning. After inquiry, the five minors were released with a warning while Surya and Joel were arrested.
