Erode: A case has been registered against two Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) leaders, one of whom is a candidate, for violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in Erode on Sunday.A candidate introduction meeting was held on behalf of NTK in Anthiyur in Erode district on Sunday night. Police said the event was held without obtaining prior approval, which is required after the code of conduct comes into effect.Anthiyur police have registered a case against NTK state coordinator Thirumurthy and party candidate ‘Alangattur’ Anandhi, based on a complaint lodged by Murugesan, Anthiyur village administrative officer.
