Kanpur: A man was injured after his bike was hit by a trailer on Koyla Nagar flyover in Chakeri police station area in Kanpur, late on Monday night, police said. The driver fled abandoning the trailer.The injured, Virendra Singh Yadav of Yashoda Nagar in Naubasta police station area, was returning after visiting his relatives in Chakeri on Monday when the trailer hit him.He fell on the road and was injured. Some passers-by informed the police who took him to Kanshiram Hospital. His family later took admitted him to a private hospital in Naubasta.Station in-charge Ajay Prakash Mishra said the trailer has been seized and a search is underway for the absconding driver. tnn
