Ranchi: Two cousins were killed after a truck lost control and hit a bike near the Chamghati area of Ranchi district on Sunday morning, police said. The deceased were identified as Prabhat Mahto (35) and Anil Mahto (28), both residents of Nawadih village.The victims were travelling towards Angara for work when the truck, which developed a technical fault, hit them and fell into a ditch adjacent to the road. The police seized the vehicle but the driver of the heavy vehicle managed to escape from the spot.The police sent the bodies of the victims to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences for post-mortem.
