Nagpur: Traffic movement on the Ram Jhula flyover between Jaistambh Square howk and Mayo Hospital will remain suspended from 11pm to 6am daily till Monday due to repair work by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC).The MSRDC has begun filling expansion joints and replacing bearings on the flyover. In view of the ongoing work, the traffic branch has imposed a temporary night closure to prevent accidents and ease congestion in the vicinity.As per traffic police, vehicles travelling from DRM Office/Railway Station towards Mayo Hospital — except ambulances — will be diverted via Railway Station, Jaistambh Chowk and Ganesh Tekdi Road, and further through Cotton Market Chowk, depending on convenience and traffic flow.The notification will remain in force till February 23. The traffic branch has appealed to motorists to cooperate with police personnel and follow the designated diversion routes during the closure period.
